    LONG AGO, IN AN ISLAND NATION IN THE FAR EAST, A FOREIGNER KNOWN AS ‘ONI’ LIVED AMONGST THE NATIVE PEOPLE. ONE APPEARED TO BE AS HUMAN AS YOU OR I, BUT WITHIN, HE POSSESSED A POWERFUL FORCE, AGAINST WHICH NO HERO COULD OVERCOME. THE NATIVES WERE CAPTIVATED BY ONI’S PROWESS, AND IN RETURN, ONI CAME TO LOVE THE ISLAND’S PEOPLE. A GROUP OF NATIVE’S JEALOUS OF ONI’S POWERS UNLEASHED A FEROCIOUS CREATURE. TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE FROM THIS BEATS, ONI PLACED HIMSELF IN HARM’S WAY AND DEFEATED THE MONSTROSITY. HOWEVER, ONI’S MAGIC SPAWNED FEAR AMONGST THE NATIVES. THEY IMPRISONED HIM WITHIN A SECLUDED CAVE. SADDENED BY GRIEF AT THE NATIVE’S BETRAYAL, THE FLAMES OF HIS SORROW SCORCHED THE ISLAND.
