    THE HOSHI AWARD IS A LITERARY AWARD RECOGNIZING THE INGENUITY OF SCIENTIFIC IMAGINATION. OUR DESIGN EXPRESSED AN ABUNDANCE OF IDEAS. WE FORMED A SIMPLE GRAPHIC INSPIRED BY THE MOVEMENT OF VARIOUS OBJECTS AND ARRANGED THEM TO REPRESENT A BEAUTIFUL WORLD OF SCIENCE. THE ARRANGEMENT BECAME THE AWARD’S IDENTITY. THE DESIGN WAS SUBSEQUENTLY EMPLOYED FOR USE ON VARIOUS PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS.
