Every now and then, we experience moments that breakthrough, stimulating our senses to fill our worlds with color and emotion. It is these moments that jimmy vi (director), toshihiko kizu (director of photography), and kishin oyama (producer) set out to capture in their short film "The circle,” produced by toboggan inc.
This piece depicts the colorful and emotional moments that break through the daily cycle of life. The film was shot only with the zeiss supreme prime 15mm, a one-of-a-kind lens without distortion, and is packed full of beautiful moments while making you feel the attachment of daily life.
The filmmakers only had five days to scout and shoot the film, and the shooting itself was completed in just one day, a testament to the power of inspired spontaneous collaboration.
