  • ENGLISH CONTEXT EXPLANATION :
In casting, the director focused on a level authenticity worthy of your favourite streaming service. Every character is fully fleshed out, and delivers a completely believable performance. Casting searched for faces not seen in ads before, street-casting some roles, while also drawing on theatre and classically-trained actors. For the sportspeople roles, professional athletes from the actual disciplines were cast. We also needed to evoke the feeling of traversing Australia in 3 minutes, so the casting process also focused on variety and contrast.
