  • ENGLISH SYNOPSIS :
A Filipino family lives on a flooded household as if the flood isn’t there. A nagging but religious mother calls the family for breakfast, with each member carrying their own morning problems: an escaped turtle, a misplaced cup of iced coffee,
    but not the flood.
  • ENGLISH CONTEXT EXPLANATION :
In the Philippines, there is such a thing as resiliency-porn.
On social media, the cheerful disposition and indomitable spirit of Filipinos amidst calamities is overly romanticized. This breeds
a government that doesn’t serve the people and a people that doesn’t hold its government accountable.

We believe in the power of elections to effect change. But if Filipinos continue to embrace a distorted spirit of resiliency,
will they be responsible enough to vote for the right public officials?

Together with Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), we ‘ve produced a film that will serve as a wake-up call among Filipinos to stop normalizing poor standard of living and start demanding for a better government by voting the right candidates.
