BACKGROUND OVERVIEW :
Cricket in India isn’t just a sport; it’s a religion. Every milestone; centuries, hat tricks, match-winning sixes, celebrated like a sacred event. While the game belongs to the fans, cricket collectibles don’t. Too rare, too expensive, too out of reach. Oreo set out to change that by making cricket history affordable, collectible, and instant.
Using years of cricket data, we mapped 217 possible milestones. Instead of letting these moments fade into statistics, we did something no one had done before, we created cookie moulds for each. Where typically our moulds take six months to design and execute, we crunched that time into minutes.
Every time an Indian cricketer hit a milestone, minutes after, a new Oreo collectible was baked, precisely capturing the player’s pose at that exact second. Virat Kohli’s iconic swing, Bumrah’s trademark delivery, few among the 217 designs, all intricately crafted with unmatched precision, making each collectible unique.
In a country where cricket is a way of life, we combined real-time execution, data-driven accuracy, and design precision to bring fans closer to the action. Oreo turned cricket’s biggest moments into limited-edition collectibles fans could own. More than just a cookie, Oreo became a part of the game itself.
