BACKGROUND OVERVIEW :
The ‘Ring of Fire’ match between Fury and Usyk was the biggest fight to take place in decades between two undefeated heavyweights for a record 4 title belts. Something like this hadn’t happened in the history of the sport since 25 years and was viewed as an exceptionally rare occurrence. A fight of this scale and magnitude might typically be expected in cities like LA or London, but Riyadh Season, the visionary force behind this monumental event, brought it to life in Riyadh. Their goal was not only to draw worldwide attention to this iconic fight but also to commemorate it and to position Riyadh as the new home of boxing on the global stage.
To commemorate this rare milestone in boxing history, we collaborated with world-renowned, luxury watchmaker Jacob & Co. to craft an ultra-rare, bespoke timepiece, immortalizing this fight in the most inimitable fashion. This artistic timepiece features incredible details from figurines of the boxers, autographed gloves, to the coveted WBC belt themed dial, all housed within a stunning 50mm rose gold casing.
Three bespoke timepieces where crafted, one was presented to each fighter, while the third and only remaining piece was set for auction by Sotheby’s.
